We used this company to move household contents from South Surrey to Cloverdale in December 2020 and January 2021 , with a one month period of items kept in storage. The company provided their own storage facilities, which made it a \one-stop-shop\. Service Considerations: -No important items broke, but only minimal superficial damage to containers. -Movers showed up on time for both moves. -Moving staff were respectful and nice to deal with. Other IMPORTANT considerations: -MID-MONTH RATES - ensure to inquire about mid-month rates before you get the final quote. From our experience, even though we moved mid-month, they refused to bill us at the mid-month rate, and we got charged the initially quoted higher rate - EXTREMELY UNFAIR. -FREQUENT SMOKING BREAKS - the moving staff took very frequent smoke breaks which resulted in our move taking over 10 hours (EXCESSIVE for a move from a 1,300 sq foot townhouse into a storage locker). During the second move, we requested to have a non-smoking crew, and the company complied. The move from storage to our new place took 6 hours (but me and my husband also helped a bit and SUPERVISED every step of the way).

My experience with this movers were awful. I will never recommend this moving company to anyone. I talked to the owner at first and gave me the estimation 1200 to move my 2 bed room staff from Calgary to Edmonton and I was clear on the phone and he was sure the job will take only 12hrs. They charge me for 14 hrs instead of 1200 I paid over 1700. They are not on time at all. Finally they broke my 65inch tv I will post the picture also my dining room buffets legs and the guy stated” that staff is cheap material” when I mentioned it. They moved my staff into two different trucks I don’t carry a broken tv all the way to Edmonton it’s logic and I tried to explain it to Thomas and he said he will settle it down but he offered me 200. He is really rude. I am single mom of 2 beautiful children and left us without tv. He knows I don’t have power over him but I have a voice as a black strong woman. Here is how my tv came. If is there is zero star I will do it definitely.
I chose this company for a couple reasons - the reviews seemed decent and the cost was appropriate for an in town move. I am adding pictures so you can see how my furniture was handled and the correspondence was that I have received. Folks - you might as well pay another company an extra couple hundred dollars to do your move, because replacing furniture and broken items because NOTHING was blanketed or wrapped WILL happen. I am just disappointed in the total outcome of this business transaction to the point I am writing a damn google review. READ all the reviews and sift through the real and fake ones...
Total pleasure working with TLL during our move from New Westminster to Victoria. The managers were informative and helpful and the labourers were prompt and professional. 2 bedroom apartment ferry to island done in one day. Best price out of 6 companies. Would call again.
I had TLL moving and storage help me with a move in Vancouver. They had pretty nice fairly new trucks. They had lots of equipment to make the move easy and the price was very competitive since we called around and found out what others were charging.
