If we really want to target reducing emissions by 2030 and beyond, we need to bring Nuclear into the picture to get there faster and more efficiently. SWB alone can barely do much in comparison and we will still continue to burn as many fossil fuels long into the future otherwise. We also don't deal with things like earthquakes and tsunami's in Ontario that we need to fear any future breakdown of nuclear reactors.

Nuclear energy is safe, clean, and cheap if you think otherwise you are uneducated on how this works or just think Canada's reactors and personnel are the same as Ukraine's 30 years ago. The only issue with nuclear power is the waste which Is not being dumped in the river or ocean or whatever it's being buried underground. There are new prototypes for new reactors using different fuel and predicted to work much better but since the world can't be asked to fund a project like that and settled for the cheap option we will most likely never see this.
