I have taken both of my dogs to Timberlea Animal Hospital and have had wonderful experiences. Most recently, tonight, I had a bit of an urgent situation with my senior dog and they got me in right away. We have seen both Dr. Osborne and Dr. MacDonald. Both are so caring, compassionate and patient. The veterinary assistants are also amazing. Just wonderful staff all around!!

Had to say good bye to my 22 and 1/2 adorable cat Beulah in November of 2020. She had gone to her regular vet for her whole life , but when she was dying they wouldn’t let me in with her , so I tried this Veterinarian place in Timberlea that was recommended to me. The staff were amazing and even though I practically cried the whole time I was there, they were lovely to deal with. Dr. Macdonald was a sweetheart and her assistant was fantastic. I truly am thankful for the compassion I felt that day and when I move forward to adopt again they definitely will be my place if choice for medical care for my fur baby.

Amazing staff, clean and organized clinic, professional and caring experience from start to finish. This team has totally put my mind at ease when it comes to my fur baby! They are also able to direct bill through my insurance provider which makes the entire process less stressful. Thank you

Tonight was our first experience with Timberlea Animal Hospital, and it won’t be our last. We took our girl Rio there for an irritated sore on her paw, after being recommended by our original vet. The care was top notch. Our dog is a gentle giant but gets very nervous. When an employee brought her out after her apt she mentioned that Rio was very sweet and got lots of cuddles. While this doesn’t sound like much, it means so much to our family who knows how scared she can be and how calm she gets with lots of loving & cuddles. That and Dr. Osborne provided great care. He thoroughly explained everything he was doing and all the tests he was running. It was a wonderful peace of mind knowing what was going on with our girl and continuing her care moving forward. All of the staff was friendly and kind. Thank you again!

Recently brought in my cat Emma and I was so fearful of losing her I broke down into tears when I was welcomed into the examination room. The secretary (forgive me I didn't catch her name) was immediately very empathetic and understanding, kept a conversation with me, and offered me a bottle of water. Dr. MacDonald was equally kind and patient and clearly explained the possibilities of what it could be, and what procedures would follow. Everyone was incredibly gentle and sweet with Emma, and it was clear how passionate and genuine they are about animals! The bill was so reasonable that we still can't believe it. Also received a detailed sheet on instructions on how to take care of her at home and how to prevent any issues in the future. Definitely found our go to vet and are endlessly thankful!

I am super happy with Timberlea! I'm new to Halifax and all the vets have at least a 2 week wait, and we were suggested to try here. We got in in two days. The vet didn't try to upsell us on expensive x-rays or unnecessary blood work, and they were incredibly wonderful about working with my very angry cat. The staff were friendly and accommodating about getting us in with everything we needed. The clinic is clean, stylish, and organized. Mostly I'm blown away by how inexpensive my bill was. Thank you so much for the wonderful treatment of my cat!

Nolan Osborne, he did a great job removing two lumps from rexs’ snout. The entire staff is very helpful and friendly. The premises itself is spotless, I wish our hospitals were that clean. I drive from Cole harbour all the way across Halifax to get to Timberly. It’s well worth it. Jg
