Gun shots from 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM all day long!. We stayed at the Driftwood Cottages, cottage #1 first week of Aug 2018. First night, and every day thereafter, we were awakened by gun shots. The shots went on all day long. We thought we were surrounded by a shooting range. We were nervous to go outside in fear of a stray bullet. Later we learned they were propane canons to keep the birds off the blueberry fields. The setting is beautiful with direct access to the ocean; however, the constant canon blasts are a deal breaker. Renters should be told about the noise in advance. The cottage was just okay, the walls were covered in dead bug guts, the furniture is minimal to say the least, with one 2 seat couch and 1 chair. The furniture was old, fabric ripped and the 1 chair fabric was very dirty. PEI is beautiful, the people are wonderful and we will go again, but I would not recommend this cottage due to the noise.

Excellent location! The cottage was very clean and well stocked. The only issue we had was the Fly's! Might have been the time of year, but they were in the cottage in mass and drove us crazy! A fly swatter was provided and spent the night killing as many as I could.

Incredible view of the water. The only cottage available for our stay was the larger one, but the owners were extremely accommodating to us. The cottage was clean and well kept with modern amenities (satellite tv & Jacuzzi tub). Slightly out of the way but worth it once you're there.
