This is a wonderful place with a wonderful teacher. Here I was able to start with a basic learners class and work my way onward from there. Jackie and Ramona are the best as a resource and for patient teaching. I highly recommend coming and creating paintings here. As far as I am concerned there is no better place to learn color theory, blending et al. Small classes and lots of attention from Jackie.
Although I live in steveston... I was in White Rock one afternoon; I walk dogs as a part time job ..and while poking along Crescent Beach area I happened upon Tiggys. I had a very good vibe about it so I booked the paint mix class (other classes are very difficult to get in) as most classes are sold out. I can see why. I managed to get in on a cancellation. The owner used to be a school teacher and her teaching and people skills really shine through. Anyway, Tiggys is awesome and worth the drive from steveston. Loved everything about this experience. I just have to wait to get in on a cancellation i guess, for the next lesson.

I can only say if you have the deep seated desire to learn to paint or just continue to learn there is no place and nobody better equipt to help you on your way. Jackie brings talent, Patience , and the love of art to every class. I know for myself, if it were not for Jackie, I would truly never have made it through the first class I took with her, after eighteen years away from the craft. My sincere thanks to both Jackie and Mona for making the experience such a pleasure.
