To start this place on the pricey side. Our simmer pot is cost ,59, handmade noodle 5 ( small portion) drink 7.99. plus tip bill came to 95 for 2. This was my first time. I enjoyed the food. Yes the sauce is a bit salty but I didn't mind. The drink was also refreshing.. I enjoyed it. In all I enjoyed the meal. It was different. Food is delicious. The waitess was ok.. got us everything we asked for. Not sure if I would go back anytime soon mainly because of of the cost factor..

The food is not bad, and they are open during Covid. Was a little dry, we kept needing to ask for water. However the price isn't worth it. 70 after tax for 2 persons sharing one pot of fish. Minimal veggies offered. We also ordered 2 bowls of udon to go with our meal. It was nice to try once but I wouldn't go again.
Loved it when I lived in China. I was so happy to know we have the same restaurant in Toronto. Meat is very tender and juice, with the sauce.
The drinks are expensive, you can see the price yourself. Ordered a passionfruit lime tea but actually got ice water and an entire sliced lime. Tasted exactly like lime water. Their signature drink was good, mango is good.. waited 8 minutes for 2 drinks. Gave it 2 star because when you pay with the machine, the tip options start at 12% with a no tip option or a custom tip option!! (Didnt ask if it was a mistake, just paid cash instead) 20 dollars is not worth a takeout order __ ...Il go somewhere else..
Lady was rude, and put automatically program the machine for tips. When I cancelled it the first time asked her about the tip she did exactly the same thing again and walked away. I wasn't going to argue with her over 2 dollar tip she can keep it. But what kind of service is that? Not coming back again.
Although I love various types of Chinese food, this place I did not enjoy. The simmer bowl recipe was extremely simple and the sauce was not anything to be amazed by. Shrimp were impossible to pill. The majority of the food I ended up eating was steamed peeper, onion and garlic. To my surprise, I was still pretty hungry after we left. On top of that, the bill was about 65 for two, which to me is crazy for such a simple dish (I love hot pot that is comparable price but much tastier).
Food is extremely salty and ridiculously expensive for the portion size. Took almost an hour to get our Simmer pot and the Seafood is not fresh. Not to mention the horrible customer service.
Why is there mandatory tips for take out? Whatever, take the 3 to buy extra rolls of toilet papers.
