We are out from Vancouver Island working on the base, and trying to do some local things and stay in a safe area. This was a great experience. Our server was effecient and informative ; and we felt safe in our super clean and warm igloo bubbles. Favourites were the Spicy apple cider and the vanilla beer. We however enjoyed all of them. We have done these local independents all over Canada in our travels and this one was definitely up there. Great job guys
It was warm in the igloo, minus 4 outside. They gave us the wrong flight of Cider, but they brought the correctone free of charge!. Our favorite cider is original, our favorite beer is light lager. The wild blueberry elderflower and the spiced apple cider were good as well.
Had a fantastic time on their patio. (Interior dining closed for Pandemic). Live music (performed behind a shield) accompanying some absolutely delicious cider offerings. Friendly and helpful staff, and while the food selections were slim they delivered on taste! Will be visiting again upon my next visit (Also picked up some of my favorite Cider-House only bevvies to share with friends back home from their retail shop)
I was able to phone in my order and pick it up at the front door of the cider and brew house in Thornbury. It was easy and convenient but I very much look forward to being able to enjoy a pint of cider on the premises when things get back to normal.
