I've visited the Ten Spot on Bayview on several locations -- for polish changes and a pedicure. I just discovered a hidden gem and her name is Cassandra!! I couldn't be more pleased with both her skills and her amazing professionalism and friendliness. She's accommodating, talented, and does a tremendous job of showing that she genuinely cares about you and your life. For some reason, her manicures dry faster and last longer than most. The Ten Spot is lucky to have her (and so am I!) Chelsea has also been a great pleasure to deal with.

I really loved the decor of this salon. The two folks working were really helpful and fun to talk to. I really like the manicure process, it felt super luxurious while still being affordable. I will be booking with this locations again for sure.
It was an okay experience. The Ten Spot locations are always clean and services are preformed on time. At the Leaside location, I just felt there was some pleasantry and happiness missing. It felt as though the people working there were not thrilled to be doing the service and wanted to get the job done as quickly as possible. Pedicure turned out good despite this.

AND HER NAME WAS CASSANDRA! I began going to the Ten spot about two years ago when I moved to the area and had amazing service during my appointments with Jenny and Madhu. When I changed my job in my company a few months ago, my availability changed and I needed to schedule my appointments to Sundays. This is where Cassandra comes in to the story haha. She always makes me feel comfortable and welcome as does all the staff at the Ten Spot, however most of my appointments for the last few months have been with Cassandra. She is always eager and kind to listen to my crazy musings. I can get Brazilians, manicures and pedicures at a least twenty companies in my surrounding neighborhood, but I come here for the staff, I come here for Cassandra. Every woman who is any shape, size, colour and socio-economic background is made to feel comfortable. I mention this specifically because I have not felt this comfortable at all salons/wax bars regardless of the price charged. I will be booking with Cassandra as long as possible and hope the owners know the type of service she provides when she works with her clientele. I am never disappointed with the quality of her work and if there ever was an issue or something I wanted to correct, she has always asked for feedback during the services. I want to return to the Ten Spot as soon as the lockdown is over in December and hopefully the company will soon return to full services. Thanks again Cassandra and all the ladies at the Ten Spot.
I absolutely love the Leaside location! All of the staff are amazing at what they do, friendly and professional. I have been there countless times alone and with my children (even hosted a 7th birthday party of 10 there - pre COVID of course!). Let's be honest, anytime someone is providing personal care for you it is personal...some services more than others! For the right mix of humour and professionalism while doing an outstanding job...there is no one quite like Cassandra!

Jenny was an absolutely amazing nail artist! She was so fun to talk to and did an absolutely gorgeous job on my nails. 10/10 would recommend
