I want to preface my review by saying the service itself was fantastic. We’re very happy with our manicures and the technicians were professional and friendly. I’m rating my experience a 2 instead of a 4.5 because of our overall experience. When my mother and I arrived on time for our appointment, we were told that a guest had come in for her appointment without booking a gel removal so they were behind (due to covid only 2/3 of the stations can be used). They asked if we still wanted our services (seriously?!) or if we wanted to change to a different service if we didn’t want to wait - which was declined as we wanted to service we booked. We felt awkward and uncomfortable. The result was my mom beginning her manicure 25 minutes late and then me waiting to complete her service on the tail-end. I booked the appointment days in advance to ensure that my mother and I were enjoying the service together. If the prior appointment didn’t book correctly, then The Ten Spot protocol should be that they needed to reschedule because they had conflicting appointments booked, especially in this covid era. I found it unacceptable. While I did enjoy the service itself, I’m not sure I want to return to a place that doesn’t value its customers time.

They basically just sell you the astehics of the place. Paid 81 for a really basic pedicure, the nail technician didn't cut my nails well had to ask her to cut my nails lower. Also had to ask her to cut my pinkie toe more because I know there is always extra buildup there. The nail colour on my big toe are different my right toe looks as if they didn't put enough coats there are nail colour around my toes because it wasn't cleaned properly. I'm upset and I won't be going back there again
Honestly best wax I’ve ever had every time I go :P Adrienne is amazing 10/10 recommend. She’s super quick and efficient (somehow it’s less painful too) and really friendly and fun to chat with. She’s the best and I will definitely keep going back!
I’ve been to this location about 5 times, brought my sister and mother in for appointments as well. Over the last couple years the quality hasn’t been as good, and even had to have my nails redone by another staff member on one occasion. This was because the nails would not dry, maybe the layers were too thick, or they didn’t allow for enough drying time, or the polish was old, I don’t know, but it was a big waste of my time. There were 2 times when the staff member seemed like they were rushing through the appointment and my nails looked lopsided (all the nails seemed to be shaped on an angle). Also, on 2 occasions when the nail polish was being applied, they didn’t go all the way to the cuticle, leaving a big gap. It’s a nice environment, they have tv’s and you can watch what you want or socialize with the staff, but a lot of the times I think this is distracting for the staff, and the customer, so you don’t notice a mistake. Every time I go in there there seems to be new staff members, so even if you find someone you like, the next time you go in they might not be there. I’m glad I decided to stop going back, because now I heard that their prices have all gone up too. For the same price you could go to a spa instead.
Loved the experience I had getting my nails done, all staff were friendly and amazing to talk with. They offered me a drink when I sat down, and the salon is very clean and professional looking. My gel nails did chip before a full week which was slightly disappointing for the price I paid but I will definitely return for a better experience.
