Easy to locate with maps, quick services too. I ordered the jollof combo(comes with 4 pieces of fried plantain, meat of choice, and a drink/bottle of water). Then I got myself their famous suya. That is the small-size in the photos attached. A serving of jollof is smaller than in other restaurants, FYI. The Suya came in large chunks of well-fried goat meat (not charcoal grilled), the slices were not like the skewer-style West African version, but they tasted good. I was expecting the marinade to be the powdered spice mix (“Yaji”, like we have in most parts of Africa) but it was a hot oily yet tasty sauce instead. I gave an extra star because food packaging was eco-friendly, and neatly packed. ️

Wow that rice is tasty, and the beef suya was excellent too. I’m no expert in African food but the food here is really really good.

Food was good. Suya is an acquired taste but one definitely worth trying (like all cuisines). Like any specialty food spot in Toronto you will pay a little extra. I had chicken and goat and I thought it was a little drier than it should have been but in truth, this is first time I have tried Suya (or any African cuisine other than Moroccan). The gentleman who served me was excellent and took time to explain things to me. As I was trying things for the first time, he let me sample some of their speciality rice as well.

Biggest reason coming here was the reviews. Not sure if they're real anymore. Got a single order of fries the other day, for two people. Both of them agreed that the fries were made from really old oil. I had eaten the whole thing cause I was hungry, a little did I expect to get burps and not the good ones. I don't think I'd like to come back here.

I’m writing this review mid-meal. This was the first place I tried suya at many years ago back in university... and it was great. Coming back today, finally, and still, this food is top-tier. Food is a love language. This food was seasoned with love. Thank you guys for doing it right, every time.
