Thanks to Mark and the staff at the Sound Room for their patience and great work servicing and upgrading my Pro-Ject Evolution TT. The new Hana ML MC cart sounded great. First up was a Stereophile's Recording of February 2018: Robert Silverman's Chopin's Last Waltz. Then a Visage EP with a great version of Fade to Grey and then AWB's Cut the Cake LP. The new cart really brought out the nuances and made the CM10s sparkle.
My wife and I are thrilled with the NAD stereo system that Mark designed for us. He is very knowledgeable and he presented three options to us after learning about our interests and needs. He was very patient with my questions and provided excellent service. Our only regret was that we hadn't contacted him sooner about replacing our old stereo!
Scot at The Sound Room was very helpful making sure that I got the turntable and speakers in time for my husband's birthday. A spontaneous, LATE request on my part so he had to do some work to make it happen!
Over the last ten years I have relied upon the folks at the Sound Room to assist me purchasing some high end audio equipment. As a serious music lover but one without any technical knowledge, I have always been impressed by the depth of their knowledge, unrivalled capacity to express this knowledge in understandable terms, and dedication to helping me find the right equipment for me. I have purchased Paradigm speakers (Studio Series 20 v.), a Project turntable, and very recently a pair of Paradigm Prestige 75F's that not only sound awesome but look incredibly sexy in white in our living room! Mark and Scott provided me with first rate service - before, during, and after the audio demonstration when my sweet P's were set up in my home. Sound Room sells high end audio, provides top rate service with enthusiasm and musical know-how, and a welcome atmosphere to listen to what best suits your needs. For example, I brought in my own amplifier and not-so-old speakers to compare and contrast when I was researching the Paradigm 75Fs. Mark and Scott encouraged this and did all the hook ups and let me listen as long as I needed. As I say, outstanding service, high end equipment, and a great atmosphere.
