To be honest, I only dropped by because a web friend of mine was performing there, and thus, my hopes were not all that high since I had zero expectations. However, this place really surprised me: it is one of the most flavorful places I've ever seen in Toronto. Period. It's definitely worth checking out whenever you are near, and they are open.
A pretty gross and grungy kinda dive bar.. definitely need an upgrade on their security. I was there for an event with my girl last night and I can't lie we did not feel safe.
They don't even deserve a 1 star. This place lacks of security. no security check ups at the doors, no security in the venue. was there over the weekend and someone shot the place up 20 minutes into the concert. FOR YOUR SAFETY I ADVISE YOU NOT TO ATTEND ANY EVENTS AT THIS PLACE! TOTAL MESS!
Great place for new artists
First time going their it was okay. small pub style bar basement type of feel. It's pretty small. They dont serve any food just alcohol. But it was a nice chill spot.
Absolutely livid because they cancelled my event LESS THAN A WEEK away. I had paid for and booked OVER A MONTH in advanced, yet they claimed to have "double booked" the space. How do you double book a space when it was reserved 4 weeks prior???? Absurd. I had to scramble to find an alternative venue and I'm still waiting for my refund.
Exceptionally unprofessional. Cancelled our booking only few days before the event that we secured months in advance, claimed the space had been "double booked" and that the second party booked long after we did. No explanation or sincerity in apology. Don't rely on them!!!
