Bar far the best skate sharpening locally in Barrie! Really great run business from their garage! Don't let that fool you though, they are set up for success. They have the knowledge and experience to give you an amazing skate sharpen for half the cost of everywhere else. The owners are a father and son team with lots of hockey knowledge and experience. Pay them a visit you will not be disappointed.

I visited this place to get my skates done this weekend! I am a AAA player here in town and I can tell you that the job they do is simply the best in Barrie. I have gone everywhere in town and no one has done such a good in getting my skates done properly. I am an aggressive skater and need my skates done a certain way, I told them how I liked it and 15 minutes later I had my skates, 1 hour later I was on the ice enjoying the best skate sharpen I have ever had! Forgot to mention they we far cheaper than everywhere else as well 6.00!
Got the family skates done here on the weekend! Very easy and safe process. Dropped skates of in a locked bin and sent them a text , 30 minutes later got a text saying my skates were done and a link to the bill! Great job on keeping it safe for everyone, what a great service!
Just got my families skates done here and was really impressed. They have the whole process completely contactless, and I mean completely! We simply dropped our skates off, spoke to them through their video doorbell, 30 minutes later we received a text with an online payable invoice and a notification our skates were done. Picked up our skates from their secured pick up bin and off we went. Also the cheapest place in town by a lot!

Great experience here today! Dropped 5 pair of skates of to be sharpened, they were done within an hour. Super safe drop off and pick, they are really taking COVID measures seriously and I can tell you this mother appreciates it!
Very impressed with the quality of work from this company. I have been playing hockey for over 25 years and played pro hockey for 7 of those years. Since I moved to Barrie 5 years ago I have been having an awful time finding a place that sharpens my skates properly. I came across The Skaters Edge this week (they are new) and thought I would give them a try. Not only ae they super knowledgeable but they we able to do my skates exactly how I like them ( I like a lot of grip, not much glide). Not only did they do great work but are the cheapest in Barrie.
