I grew up poor. Most of my clothes came from the Salvation Army King Street Store. As an adult I have lived a fortune life and I am donating a great deal of my possessions to The Salvation Army. They do many great things. They do not seek recognition for their work. They are a blessing to the community. If you can support them in way please do.

We always have great shopping here! My mother loves to come and see what we can get and some of the items are very beautiful and well maintained. Always have a great time here and staff is usually very friendly and the place is kept very clean!
For a relatively small area thrift store variety and quality of stock is surprisingly more than good, or let's say above the average. They do not charge tax so all the final prices are fine. Except for the kids' shoes which cost 15 - 25 what is a nonsense if I compare that with Value Village or Talize where average children shoes costs 4 - 5. Home decor, sports and kids toys departments are limited with space so don't expect to find miracles there but kind workers will make you feel better even if you didn't find what you were looking for. Overall I would give this store 4.5 since I leave it always with a smile on my face.
Stopped in to have a look see .. of course I bought the softest, cutest Christmas Gingerbread man stuffie .. great addition to my collection Never know what you'll find
THANK YOU JOYCE for welcoming me and being so kind to me while in your store. I'm new to Kitchener ( from Nova Scotia) and I've been in the store 3 times now and have had amazing luck with finding a beautiful winter jacket, winter boots and a hoody and they are all in new and clean condition. The staff is amazing. I had another young man be so nice to me also...wish I had of asked his name. I LOVE this store and the prices and I'll be back for sure. I love and support the salvation army. They do GREAT things for Canadians.
