First time visiting Oshawa Valley Botanical Gardens and it was good. The weather has been very hot and dry over the last few weeks so the grass and flower beds were dry and the flowers in some areas looked dead. It was still a nice walk through the gardens as some flowers looked great. Early in the morning before the sun is hot would be a good time to go. Good place to take a nice walk or just to sit and enjoy a good book/music. People in the area when we went seemed friendly and would say hello and keep a small conversation from a distance. Hopefully we can get some rainy weather so the grass and flowers can get some much needed water.

Great gardens and beautiful creek. You can see samon spawing if you come in late august-early september. Playground for the kids and pleanty of parking. There is some green space for picnics and outdoor activities. Gradens are very well kept and beautiful. Looking forward to going back soon.

Super nice park in the city! I live nearby and I am so happy that I have this great place in walking distance. There is a playground and water is very clear so that kids can play. Good place to rest with family/friends.

Grounds are kept beautifully. Lots of parking available. Took my 4 year old son here twice. He loves it here. Very peaceful and he likes looking for frogs and fish by the bridge. My son was able to ride his scooter or even his bike. We visited during Covid-19 (July), people kept their distance and wasn’t crowded.
