If you love trains, if you have kids, if you’re just a big kid at heart, this is a must visit! Visit their website for their annual open house shows. We took our 15 month old who loved it and my father who loves trains, they equally enjoyed it and walked away wit my the same big smile. Thank you to Phil and his team of volunteers who made it one heck of a great experience. They even made sure to have activities for kids and adults to enjoy, well done! We’ll be going here again!

Very nice place to see Model Trains and to take your children to. The Model Trains are being run remotely. The set up is massive and very detailed.

This is our second time here. They offer a visitors show day once in a while. Cost is 10 for adults and 5 for children, cash only. This is a club for model train enthusiasts and is only open to members. The members are very knowledgeable people. They spend a lot of time designing an entire \world\ of train tracks, stations, scenery and tunnels. They tend to pick existing locales and spend time to replicate the venue with painted backgrounds, little people, cars, trucks, buildings, etc. They all look realistic. This place is great for children and kids at heart. There is so much to see. In Feb 2020, they even provided children for a scavenger hunt to find little things like a snow man and dinosaur, and get a Hershey's Kiss as a prize . In one section, they even set up a small walkway, elevated by 12 inches. This place is also great for those interested in photography, especially closeup photography. All trains are controlled via WiFi and cell phone controllers. Therefore, there is no free WiFi provided to the public. Because the club is located in the basement of a building, it is hard to get any mobile data signal there, and if you do, it would only be 3G, not 4G. There is a little snack shop so you can buy drinks and snacks. There are washrooms down the main hallway.

Went for their open house. What a great experience you can wonder for hours and not see all the details and sly humour.

It was really , highly recommend it. (Appointment only) They were super friendly and gave us detailed private tour. My son enjoyed a scavenger hunt too. We finished basic and intermediate ones, so next time we'll challenge hard one
