Both of my kids have used Math Guru tutors for the past number of years and I can't say enough good things about Vanessa and her team. My kids bonded with all their tutors and looked forward to their weekly sessions. Not only did the tutors help them with their classwork and academic concepts, but they fostered confidence and curiosity. Also, I have to add that the team at Math Guru will bend over backwards to accommodate schedules; and cancelling and rebooking a session is easy. Through the pandemic, they have been a life line when students just aren't able to get that one-on-one they used to get with their teachers. Highly recommended by me and both my kids!

Honestly the best there is. When in studio, the vibe is incredibly unique. It does not feel sterilized and fake, it is very fluid and warm. The smell of baked goods and complimentary tea always put a smile on my son's face. It was to the point where I had to get teas for home to recreate the feeling when we were not in center. Online, his teachers were knowledgeable and friendly. His tutors are both knowledgeable and flexible. They go from their curated curriculum, to supporting what is (or is not) being taught in schools. They are hands down the best in the game, well worth the investment for any student.
My son began with Math Guru four years ago in Grade 5. Vanessa was able to match him up with the perfect tutor, Jenna, who was able to not only teach him math in a more effective way, but was able to customize his lessons around his ADHD. Brady loves both Jenna and TMG and his marks reflect that. In addition, when my daughter who never usually needs tutors was struggling with one section of Statistics math during Grade 12. I called Vanessa, we got her over there, and wham bam, thank you ma'am, she got it, and then aced it at school. Vanessa has a wonderful gift for hiring staff with diverse gifts, interests and personalities which keeps learning fun for the students. The Math Guru is a very special place that our children are so fortunate to have available to them. Vanessa and her team do everything to keep students happy, engaged and confident. In the end, confidence is everything!
