This place is seriously a hidden gem in Toronto!!! I've only been to 401 games to play board games with my friends but the atmosphere was not cozy or fun to be around. When I came here, the atmosphere is so relaxing and perfect for friend hangouts. It's located upstairs and there's a great variety of popular and fun board games. They also have a great selection of bubble teas and the Black Pearl milk tea tastes great. Would definitely recommend!!!!

Want bubble tea but allergic to dairy? Look no further, this dual purpose store... playing board games and bubble tea... is a happening spot in the evenings. Just across the street from UofT St George Campus... it definitely attracts the student crowd. Tried it out last week and enjoyed my bubble tea immensely. Affordable too at 3.99 each. I have gone back for and tried the Taro bubble tea too. The milky teas are great. The sago/pearls are cooked just right (not tough and not too jelly) Will try the green tea based next time. Only downside is that this place has stairs to go up which means if you have mobility issues, like a wheelchair. You won’t be able to head in.

Nice board game cafe with bubble tea served! A good variety of board games and decent bubble tea for the price. There is a cover for the board games but it's at a reasonable price. The space is well lit and isn't too crowded during most times. The bubble tea is okay, not the best but it's pretty good for a board game cafe. Really like the quality and quantity of games available at this location.

This place is absolutely amazing. Unlike other competitors, the food and drink selection they serve is unique and tasty (who doesn't love bubble tea?!). Also, the employees are great. They are willing to teach you new and fun games (shout-out to Frank for Mr. Jack). Speaking of games, their selection is great! Atmosphere is also very nice and friendly. 12/10 recommend.

Had an amazing time here for a reunion with friends! Great selection of board games of all types and quality bubble tea on par with some of the better franchises in the city. The owner is very friendly and accommodating, and the lounge is set up with all kinds of tables and chairs (even benches!). Excellent ambiance for just chilling out compared to other board game cafes. Location close to campus is also exceptionally convenient; will definitely be returning and would highly recommend The LOFT to anyone looking for a new hangout!

Founded by a former U of T pharmacy student, The Loft offers a large, bright space with plenty of table space and a wall of board games. The College Street location is perfect for students who need a much needed break. Some customers bring their consoles and view games on the large TV screen. The variety of table styles and chair heights accommodates all. The peach green tea with the right amount of sugar is refreshing on a warm day. Tea and board games: a winning combination!
