Angie (the owner) is friendly and helpful. She will move mountains to try and get you the yarn you want. There is a wide variety of yarns, needles and other goodies you have no idea you need. Prices range from very affordable to luxurious. Weekly knit-ins in a cozy, spacious environment. It's like a second home.
Please, fellow yarn enthusiasts, don't be put off by the exterior. This shop is adorable, Angie has so many beautiful types of yarn available (and for really great prices, to be honest) and she goes out of her way to help you with whatever you need. I came for the yarn crawl, and The Knitting Basket was definitely in my top 3 favourite new stores.
Wonderful and cozy yarn shop. Super friendly owner. It was a warm and welcoming experience, and seems like a great place to sit and knit...or crochet...or chat. Loved it!
Angie goes above and beyond! Her customer service is top notch, if there is something you want that she doesn't have, she will do her darndest to get it in for you. Plenty of unique items available besides your standard yarn and needles!
Angie, the owner is one of the nicest people. Shea very helpful and very knowledgeable about knitting. If she doesn't know an answer to a knitting problem, she'll do everything she can to find out for you.
