Very RUDE front desk staff, esp. manager, Sherry. They CALLED me for an appoint but could not give me one before my Dr fax a requisition. I had deficulties with opening prep. Instruct. Staff are very rude & not helpful at all.

Dr. Murray has been treating me for years for Crohn's Disease. Referred from SickKids. He is an amazing doctor, always looking after the best interest of his patients, and genuinely cares about your well being. I now drive from an hour away just to continue as his patient. If you're in need of a great Gastroenterologist, The Intestinal Health Institute should be high up on your list of consideration.

The colonoscopy procedure was very easy. After checking in at the front desk, You are met by a nurse were you prepare for the procedure. You are administered a sedative via a very small prick in your wrist and the next thing you know you are all done. It is really that simple. The team of Dr Pendergast, Karen and Judy were professional, gentle and made the procedure simple. to whom i am very thankful and grateful.

There are some things in life that aren't the most comfortable. The great thing about the doctors and staff here is that they make the whole process simple and bearable. I was seen by Dr. Iain Murray, who is one of the best doctors I have ever met. His thorough professionalism and friendly nature was matched by his solutions and clinical perfection. I would recommend him, and the Institute, to anyone with any intestinal health issue or concern.

Upfront 50 Admin fee?? After hearing really bad reviews on Dr. Pendergast, I called the office for better info on my upcoming colonoscopy. I was told that total sedation happens, and I will not be held down. That was not the case with other patients. I then asked why they charge a 50 admin fee. The receptionist was snotty and gave ridiculous reasons like doctors notes(I don't need one) & prescription notes will be covered. WHAT? OHIP covers that don't they? Confused.
