Plenty of selection. Materials like wood vary greatly in quality at times but you can typically get what you're looking for. Great sales when you can catch them, otherwise prices are not too bad. Staff is always very friendly and helpful.

i found so many good deals here. shelving which is really good quality, and really inexpensive. they have door deals where when you walk in, they are right there. i actually came back for more a few days later because it was the best price in town. employees saw me looking for a few things and came over to ask if i needed any help. they were very friendly and that seemed sincere and i appreciated that. so many cool things in there that would be whatever you may need. the blond cashier, well, she could benefit from some kind of customer service training. id actually avoid her and find another cashier. just sayin. i will for sure the next time i go there. overall, i think home depot is the place to go.
Home Depot has a vast amount of tools and equipment for home did. This year for Halloween they have one the best Halloween displays in Grand Prairie. The staff are always helpful should you need advise or direction, one of my favourite diy spots in Grand Prairie

Good selection of seasonal items. Plenty of painting supplies at a variety of prices. Didn't stock clear refills for 3M/Command hooks. Also they only have self check out open - only taking debit/credit. Very inconvenient when I wanted to pay cash.
