I had an absolutely wonderful experience in Home Depot today.... The customer service went above and beyond. Everyone I encountered was very polite and professional... but it was Andrew in the lumber department who gave the most exceptional service. I was looking for a piece of wood for my easel to act as a background for over spray for my airbrushing. Well without Andrew I would have surely chosen the wrong type of board as I was looking at some with him and was about to choose something when he noted to me that it would not work well and disintegrate with any sort of liquid on it. He then helped me choose the absolute perfect board... way better than what I would have found alone. I also needed a small piece of a 2 by 4... in which he cut the size piece I needed and gave it to me for free. I had other items on my list and he stayed with me and showed me to each item and gave great input on any of the items where I wasn't sure of something. He was extremely friendly, professional, polite and very knowledgeable about store inventory. I most likely would have left the store disappointed after spending eons in there if I was left to my own devices. Definitely two thumbs up and five gold stars for Andrew!

Most of the associates give great service especially in the paint department. Overall, the store is very clean and usually well stocked.
Excellent place for shopping your home project needs. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable. Prices are right and convenient.
Has what you need to fix what you broke. Has the people to tell you how to fix what you broke. Has the stuff for you to try to make that thing you've wanted to try to make. Probably has that thing that you wanted to try to make in a pre-made format for when you fail at making it. They have the smoker you need to start smoking your own meat and BBQs to grill the meats you don't want to smoke. They also have appliances for those rainy days that you really don't want to have to be outside for. But also they have fire pits and canopies so you can do it anyway.
It's a hit and miss when you asked the clerks for information. Once again I have to come back to refund the item. If they don't really know about the product, just say so. No shame! You can't know it all, but don't just give me a answer so you can make yourself look good.
