Very poor customer service received today. My husband and I went to purchase some products. Waited at the door to be admitted as expected. An employee told us one person could come in so I entered. She then told my husband at the door he would not be able to enter when the next spot was available but that other people after us in line would be coming in first. This is a very poor way to treat customers who are trying to shop local and have mentioned your great selection of vegan and gluten free products to others in the past. I feel our business was not wanted and we will not be returning. Very disappointing.

I'm not sure about all of these negative reviews. And I find it ironic that they all mention mask complaints. Seems suspect. The gentle rain is a lovely local store with a variety of natural and health foods and supplements. The staff has always been more than helpful and friendly. The store offers personal shoppers, online ordering, phone ordering, delivery and pick up for those who can't or don't wish to mask up. I feel that's more than accommodating and the opposite of these discriminatory claims. Thank you gentle rain for being there for your community. I'll.definitely be back!!
Love the Gentle Rain!! The staff are always helpful and very knowledgeable! Shopping is available for everyone's comfort level. The new online store is very user friendly. Thanks to the staff for all their hard work in keeping staff and customers safe! Stay well!!
THE GENTLE RAIN DISCRIMINATES AGAINST THOSE WHO CANNOT WEAR A MASK FOR MEDICAL REASONS. Two weeks ago my 72 year old father was repeatedly harassed by an employee at this store because he was wearing his mask below his nose. He expressed that he has COPD and asthma, and that he was feeling faint. He also expressed that technically he is medically exempt from wearing a mask, but he is doing his best. I was there at the same time as him, and I was disgusted at the lack of concern given by the employee. She maintained that it was store policy that the mask be above the nose. I guess the store owner would prefer a law suit from someone passing out in their store over someone walking around with a mask on. BUSINESS OWNERS CANNOT REFUSE SERVICE TO SOMEONE WHO CANNOT WEAR A MASK FOR MEDICAL REASONS!! KNOW YOUR BY-LAWS!!! PROOF IS IN THE ATTACHED PICTURE.
