My favourite place in town! The Cheese Shop is filled with amazing cheese (obviously), but what you don’t know until going in is that the staff is amazing too. Every time I go in to shop, the staff remembers me and I feel like I’m visiting with friends. They give great recommendations, they let you try samples, there is a fantastic assortment of cheese accompaniments, and they always leave you wanting more. Please support this local business! You won’t be disappointed.

The Dover Cheese Shop is one of the best shops in town. The staff is lovely and their recommendations are worth listening to. The mystery cheese bags are fun, and this new cranberry goat gouda is delicious! Really appreciate all of the safe Covid practices in place too.
I 100% recommend this buisness. Twice during tbe pandemic I've ordered delivery from them for my dad, and each time the recipiet LOVED what they got! Their products are so unique and they've made up great gift baskets for us! Perfect for Fathers Day and birthdays alike! Lovely cheese shop with fantastic selection of local and worldwide cheeses! Staff is very knowledgeable and patient while we tried to narrow down our selections. Nice selection of preserves and kitchen goods and utensils.
Friendly staff, great selection of various cheese, olive oils and vinegars. Cheese curds came from Woodstock on Fridays and were expensive (5 for small and 10 for a large container) but pretty good.
