Such an awesome experience and didn’t even go to the restaurant :-) The most pleasant family Stephanie answering the phone was very friendly & customer focused to the point you could feel her smile thru the phone. Delivery (Stephanie’s dad) was prompt and very pleasant. The FOOD! Omg the truffled gnocchi is actually to die for - amazing! Fish and chips were perfect- kids meal was great with a slice of banana loaf and apple juice. Portions are VERY generous - can’t wait to experience it in person.

I ordered the vegetarian Curry dish however I added chicken, it was very good just the right amount heat. The waiter was very patient wish me well I tried three different red wines, until I found the one I liked. We sat out on the patio it was lovely out there.
emailed Saturday afternoon for a pick up Sunday 6.45pm Prime Rib & Liver & onions. received a call a couple hours later to confirm pick up & to verify order to be picked up in parking spot No.1....I phoned Sunday early afternoon to adjust pick up for 5.45Pm. Stephanie replied to say ok pick up at parking spot 3... everything went on time ,order as requested, food absolutely delicious., service very friendly. Definitely recommend this pub. Cant wait to come back when things are normal again. Have already recommended them. We had come up from Richmond Hill to see the colours.
The Dam Pub has a beautiful patio space and serves amazing food. I had a Whiskey Flight and the prime rib and my meal was absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend
For any vacationers within a 20 km radius of Thornbury who enjoy a “nip” of Scottish single malt whisky this is a must visit destination. Locals just say it’s just a Pub, a Dam Pub! Because they wish to keep the liquid gold for their own pleasure. Choose your meal from menu that caters to local sourced produce, while could be paired to your favorite single malt. Suggest calling ahead to make reservations unless just stopping by the bar.
