I've been buying covers from the The Cover Guy for 10 years now and never plan on changing. My recent experience with the Cover Guy has been very positive. I've had the pleasure to work with Amanda on a recent issue with sizing (primarily due to unique product specs). Amanda provided me with prompt service and with a positive attitude, recognizing my issue right away and dealing with it professionally. A lesson learned for the customer: Provide the make of the hot tub in the comments when ordering a cover! I will continue to use The Cover Guy and give recommendations every time I have the opportunity Thank you for the service!

Ordering cover was hassle free online. Shipping was actually pretty quick considering the Covid situation. I ordered the deluxe cover with pretty much all the upgrades. I cannot see this cover lasting more than a couple years at most. I expected a leather or at least vinyl (leather like) cover, instead I received a tent fabric type of material and just discovered that was apparently because of my UPGRADE to "Premium Weathershield Material". The cover only has one handle on each side. The "warranty" is a PRO-RATED warranty that drops 50% after the first year! Cover is made in Mexico NOT Canada as they would have you believe on their site. I went on their site to register the warranty as I expect to be using it and once complete got their offer of a 3 year (then pro-rated) warranty for 99. NOT IMPRESSED for 650. UPDATE - Day 2 and icicles have already formed around the skirt indicative of evaporation escaping. UPDATE 2 - Left a message with customer service 5 days ago expressing my displeasure and still have yet to receive a return call.

Not a great experience at all. I purchased a cover last fall and selected some additional weatherproofing features, my cover totaled around 650.00. I have now had my cover for 3 months, after 1.5 months I noticed a small tear near one of the safety straps and not long after the seam split right open. I was offered a selection online to not have a skirted cover, therefore the safety straps were connected directly to the edge of the cover. The standard method to apply the safety straps is to the skirt of the cover. Also, this issue has also only occurred on 1 of 4 straps on the cover. Because of this I believe there is a manufacturers error with this strap/seam on my cover. I was told by customer service that this was NOT covered under warranty and I was given no further information. I am overall disappointed in the in quality of this product and the customer service care provided. I would NOT recommend this product.
Great cover fits like a glove amazing new material for the cover looks so good now I need a cover for the cover. Would recommend the Cover guy hands down. Hi Cover guy! just an update to our cover review a short time ago. We love the cover ! it looks great and preforms well! the new cover material is a huge plus! As I write this I'm looking at the cover covered in frost and know the insulation package is doing its job! The side skirt works perfectly! In addition we are ecstatic that we won our cover cost! This in no way shape or form has influenced our opinion of the quality of the cover we were very pleased before ( if you read my previous comment) and we still are regardless of recent events. Would I buy again? you bet! The Cover Guy and other small business deserve our support!! Stay well and keep doing what your doing!
I ordered the cover as the pandemic got under way. So it did impact the production and length of time it took to get it. They did a fair job in keeping me informed as to the status and considering that I am sure they had many customers to try and keep up to date. Yes it took longer than I am sure is normal. However the quality of the cover is excellent. It fits perfectly and the workmanship is very good. Much better than my old cover. So I had to wait awhile, but good things do come to those who wait. Now I am waiting to see how well it lasts.
Poor Quality, Poor response on defects! Waited a long time for the order. But I accept that during covid. This was my second time being a customer to the Cover Guy, and this time ordered every upgrade I could on the hot tub cover. I ordered repeat sizes of my last order and they made the skirt 1" too long. Also the under layer of the cover was rippled and shows through. The corners are terrible and distort and remain exposed allowing for heat escape. I have sent pictures to them, and asked repeated for multiple weeks with no response to my issue. I feel that they have my money and don't care about customer service. My experience the second time was not what my 2017 experience was. Very disappointed!
Wanted to support local, so I ordered a cover back in July 2020... came a bit after the promised delivery time..no big deal. Within 3 weeks the cover had 3 significant tears in it. Now a few months later (6 months) the handle came off. Original cover lasted almost 10 years... not sure the new one is going to last 10 months !!
