We (my husband and I ) moved in October 26 to a one-bedroom and den suite. Of course we had to downsize from our house, but all our most essential belongings fit nicely in the space. We find the very, very nice staff to be the most wonderful aspect of our time here. We're also impressed with the interesting food, the breadth of the amenities and activities, and the elegance of the decor. If one can no longer maintain a house, but can still mostly manage independently with the reassurance that help is at hand if needed, The Barryview is the place to be.

After a month in residence here, I have found the staff to be efficient, helpful and friendly, the amenities effective, tasteful and more than adequate. The food is of excellent quality and well presented. In all, an experience which made me apprehensive at first has been positive and pleasant for me, my wife and our wee cat.
I have been in the process of getting my cousin into Barrie View before it was built. He is moving in November 23rd. Patricia Miller has been wonderful and very helpful. Looking forward to the big move....
