This pub doesn’t look like anything special from the outside, but never judge a book by it’s cover. The staff are friendly, service is efficient and the food was great. The fish and chips were the best fish and chips I’ve found in Toronto. The tartar sauce was a tad spicy and flavourful. The batter was not over done and the oil was clearly fresh. The burger was also fantastic, and a definite recommendation!

Nice place with a chill atmosphere. Food is a bit pricey, ended up getting fries, there is a good portion in the order. Plenty of drink options including microbrews. Booths, tables and bar seating available. Washrooms are clean and tidy. Recommend.
I love a good poutine and kale ceasar salad, and Auld Spot does both really, REALLY well. Lovely staff, and cool atmosphere too! It's a gem on the Danforth for sure.
UPDATE: Can you beat this Bacon Double Cheeseburger or the salads with LOBSTER? I don't think so. UPDATE today. Just look at the photo of my Beer Battered Shrimp Tacos tonight :) With black bean puree, pico de gallo, aged cheddar, kimchi aioli and soft shell tortillas. This dish was AMAZING, as is everything on the menu,. They just keep getting better! Always outstanding. Great and unique food. Fab wines and beers and cocktails. Comfy vibe.
Went here for the oysters thinking it was happy hour and we just missed it, but we still ordered some. They were great, and fresh. This place never disappoints. They make different kinds of drinks out of the ordinary that are quite pleasing.
