My experience was fantastic. Walter's service at the store was helpful, unpretentious, friendly, and professional. The Jackson sectional I ordered was on sale, and was surprisingly cheaper than anything comparable at the Bay (for example). However, quality-wise, it rivaled any other high-end furniture store. It also arrived early and the delivery men were great. They carried everything up five flights, in a narrow townhouse, set it up like the showroom, AND moved my old couch downstairs. High marks overall.

Worst furniture shopping experience I have ever had. I waited patiently months to have my furniture delivered because I was looking forward to having a housewarming party in my new home, but I never imagined it would turn out the way it did. I was taken by a surprise when the delivery truck arrived. My NEW furniture arrived unwrapped and damaged in a filthy truck. They were fabric material, and they were placed on dirty, black stained what you call moving blankets. They were not wrapped in any kind of plastic cover, and it looked like they were just thrown in the truck. I was speechless. For such a high end store, I was also expecting a high end delivery service. How in the world do they think this is acceptable? I’m starting to question the quality of the furniture. Are they really worth the amount the customers are paying for? Because if not, then it makes perfect sense why these pieces of furniture were just thrown like that in a filthy truck. What saddens me the most is that now I do not have a complete home to enjoy, and this company has left a bad taste in mouth forever. I am writing this because I do not want anyone else to experience what I did. All the hours I spent browsing and choosing the perfect items for my new house, I will never get back now. Please be aware and do not waste your time with this company because you will only find yourself disappointed.
The sales personnel here made it really easy to find a new bed, and was super easy to work with. We absolutely love the bed in all aspects! Very well designed and nice color!
Waste of time. Everything is overpriced- and I'm pretty sure they won't be closing anytime soon.
Up scale very expensive
Don't waste your time and check out the other stores in the area. From unreliable products (had sofa replaced twice) to questionable employment practices which explain the hard sales tactics, not surprised they're finally liquidating and conceding to other reputable and more reasonable businesses in the area. I've seen better liquidation in the toilet with less pain. Shop around a bit, amazing store in the neighbourhood (Elte, etc), and remember they'll say anything to sell.

This store is certainly not cheap but it's not the most expensive one either. They have a number of unique items that I have not seen anywhere else. I bought a very cool dining room table from them a year ago. I am generally prone to buyer's remorse but I still love the table. And just a couple of weeks ago I bought a bed from them (after looking at a LOT of beds at other places). I'm very happy with the bed too. Both times the service was great and the saleswoman (Galina) remembered me from a year ago and even remembered my furniture preferences. Amazing! Also, the delivery was very prompt both times (within a week of the purchase). Art Shoppe is definitely worth checking out.
