*The Destination. Silken apples! Still a low key apple (so it won't get picked out like others were) but if you know of it and why it's so special, this place is a gold mine while most people pass over for the more common types - more for me to choose from. Pears were completely picked out, not surprised because there's a lot of traffic. So if you want pears, either go early in the season or go else where, the pear orchard isn't that big. There's a lot of varieties of apples within a short walk unlike other orchards where it's so spaced out it takes a while to get to the next variety. So you get to see a whole bunch within steps. sunflowers were still in bloom. tip: don't be like others and just take photos at the front. the actual sunflower field is deeper in and way better. many different selfie spots with the old tractor or plane, or just standing inside the field. other places might charge extra, but your admission includes everything so good value. There's enough to do for the family to do, an afternoon of fun, as described by others. It is busy on weekends. Line up to get in but once in, it's not overly crowded, lots and lots of space for social distancing. Except the kids play area is busy. lots of parking.

2020.09.04. The second stop today was at The Apple Orchard. A beautiful day for Apple pickup. The weather was so cool to wal around and pick apples and pears. Also, had the chance to see the sunflower field. Great place.
Great family experience, still lots of selection despite visiting later in the season. Apparently this year the apples were about 2 weeks earlier than usual. Depending on when you go certain varieties of apples and pears will be more plentiful. There were still quite the selection of Jona, golden delicious, golden russett, Ida red and imperial to name a few. We will certainly visit back again next year, we brought home several bags full and spent maybe 3 hours there walking through the rows and rows. Note that there are some hilly areas and you'll have to watch your footing in case there's fallen apples or stones but as long as you're mindful you'll be fine. On the weekdays there is a wagon pulled by a tractor that will get you to the farside of the orchard rather than going over the terrain. There were also sunflowers and some squash/pumpkins left but very few by the time we went.
Great place. Obviously C19 is impacting on a lot of the activities there. However, if the weather's OK this is a great place to spend time with the family. 26ish buck for a family of four plus the cost of apples etc, just seems a little bit expensive to me. The maze is OK, but there's no \middle\ you just go in it and walk about.
Nice place for a family day outdoors with apple and pear picking. Corn maze and wagon ride. Lots of fun
