Pretty good Italian restaurant. My wife and my children enjoyed all the food that we ordered. (Calamari fritti, Penne a la Vodka, Cacciatore Pizza, Margherita Pizza and other pasta I don't remember the name). The Margherita Pizza was very good but was missing the spinach (it might have been dried spinach just like dried oregano). Good flavor anyway. The Cacciatore Pizza was good and spicy as advertised. The penne a la Vodka was probably the best of all. Great flavor, delicious sauce. The size of this pasta could've been a bit bigger. The calamari fritti were pretty good too, it came with a mayo-cappers sauce on the side that was pretty good but I do miss the way Italians serve the calamari fritti in NYC, that comes with a really delicious red tomato sauce. My wife enjoyed the pasta she ordered. To make it short... Food was pretty good, service was friendly, sizes for the pizzas were perfect, sizes for the pasta on the small size, calamari fritti a bit small for what I am used to. Prices a bit high but I would come back again. I have lived in NYC and have worked in Italian restaurants there, it is difficult to rate the ones outside NY. Anyway, this one is pretty good here in the GTA.

This 2nd generation Pizzaria is kick arse.....great little gem on yonge and Elgin mills in Richmond Hill...small and quaint...pizza and any dish...Veal parm pasta...is delicious....service is incredible...all at moderate pricing...all must when in Richmond Hill....
We are fans of That's Italian! I always order the pepperoni pizza. My parents love the pasta dishes. It is small and quaint but we enjoy the restaurant. This is not a fast food establishment and so don't expected Domino's or Pizza Hut type of food, service, or price. We looking forward to eating here again soon.
Went here last night to have dinner for two with my girlfriend. We were welcomed with very arrogant and inattentive service as if us eating there was a trouble. I was close walking out but decided to put the attitude aside and try to enjoy the grub. Pizza wasn't bad. It was actually pretty damn good. It's just the price to quality was not there. The total bill came out to what I would except to pay at a higher quality restaurant. If the prices for pasta and pizza decreased or they increased their portion sizes, I'd consider going again. Otherwise until they do that or at the very least have the management work on their customer service training, I won't be going again
All I can say is wow, wow, wow! I have always been very fond of Italian food. Had visited an Italian restaurant here and there. One day, like three months ago, I visited Thats Italian Express and fell in love completely with it. Im telling you, this is serious Italian food. The environment in the restaurant is so warm and family-like, and the service is just great. I have been visiting since then and also have pizza delivery from time to time, especially during the football games. I dont think Im finding any other Italian restaurant. I keep recommending it to everyone I get the chance to. I have pretty much tried everything in the menu, it’s all so damn good! The pastas are simply made in heaven. This is absolutely my best Italian restaurant and I am not planning on changing, at all. Oh, and Ill keep recommending it without a doubt.
Went there with my family last night. The place is rather deceiving. It looked closed as we walked up to it, but found the door open. We were warmly greeted and seated to a table right away. The menu is impressive, and it turns out there is a couple things not on the menu as well which you can order. So check the online menu to see some other choices. We had the spaghetti and meatballs, a home made pizza, Capresse salad, and some deep fried calamari. Everything was freshly made, and amazing to eat. My kids who never eat sauce ended up devouring it, even though they ordered the pizza. The pineapples on the pizza were some of the freshest ones I have tried for a while. The service was excellent. The pricing is in line for a good restaurant. You get what you pay for.
Would not recommend, quite overpriced. EDIT (1): Apparently I am not allowed to give my opinion on this establishment without it being called a "fake review". It is truly incredible how every unfavorable review has a condescending response from the owner of this restaurant that defensively challenges people who share their negative experience. Note some earlier responses where the owner comments on the amount of tip left for a delivery driver, and tells another customer she is not a good parent. This is extremely unprofessional. You come across as extremely entitled and arrogant. If you operate a restaurant, be prepared to take criticism. I ate here. I was not a fan. The food did not meet my expectations. The food was overpriced. This is as much detail as I will provide. I can assure you that I ate food from this restaurant. As much as the owner would like to believe, this is not a "fake review". EDIT (2): The owner of this establishment may have anger management issues given his response to my criticism. You are in the service industry, please be prepared for positive as well as negative comments. Just for your information, I would not dare disclose my place of employment to you, or come in to your establishment again to discuss this matter. Based on other [negative] reviews, I have seen what has happened to individuals who have voiced their discontent with their meals. I do not think I am more important than anyone. I understand the value of money and after eating at your restaurant, I was disappointed in what I paid versus the quality of food that I received. Also Joe, I can assure you that I am 'grown up', more so than you at least. I do not blindly threaten people on the internet when they are unhappy with a good or service that I provide.
The grilled calamari and grilled vegetable salad (not sure the name on menu) was amazing! I also ordered the veal parmesan and enjoyed it very much! Everything was very fresh and delicious. Way better then any chain restaurant
