I love lavender from the purple hues to the scent and flavors in my ice cream and teas. It's such a beautiful plant with so many qualities and so many unique ways in using it. When I first heard about Tera Bleu, I couldn't wait to go and visit the farm. A field filled with purple flowers with the best scent in the world. Who wouldn't be excited. As much as I understand and get that sometimes nature is just not on our side. I was a bit disappointed with the farm bloom when I finally visited this year. I understand that bloom do differ from different varieties but a lot of the plant where damaged due to the cold harsh winter and wet spring. Maybe I will visit again in the next few years but those who do want to visit this year, I wouldn't expect to much. The ice cream was good but I did find it a bit on the icy side and flavor was very mild. I have had better lavender flavored ice cream. Lemonade was the same. It did taste like it was freshly squeezed lemons which I'll give them a thumbs up for. Farm was small but a nice place to go to for a half a day trip. I do find it more fitting for couples and girlfriends to go to and less so for family outings. The only reason I say this is because kids may find it boring as it's not very kids friendly, by this I mean no parks for them to play in or anything engaging for the little ones to keep them entertained.

Was pretty nice. Lots of sun so beware of heat. The line to the yellow door was too long for me with kids. But the forest trail was amazing. Beware of biting bugs.

Managed to snag tickets for my kids and I at the end of their season for a late afternoon visit. As we were there near the end of day we had to rush through some of the areas, but was still amazed by the natural beauty around us. We finished off our visit at the Sunflower Fields, which were lovely to behold as the sun set... As we left we were treated to a cut sunflower each, and a small bunch of Lavender on the way out. A wonderful and much appreciated surprise.
