I was there when during my teenager time in 1989. Basically, they did not addapt activities for foreign participants with a medium level of English. Everything was for me confussion and I felt discriminated many times, as well they did not seem to take care of this language problem. Basic things like songs, personal explanations or similar activities were not addapted to this type of participants. It was a pity...I really dont miss Wabikon.

Amazing place. Beautiful people. Best summer wilderness camp I know of with kids from all over the world. Superb leadership with caring staff. Highly recommended for anyone looking for summer paradise for their kids.
My parents were staff in the 40's and early 50's. I was a canoe guide there in 70, 71, 72 and 76. Our daughters were campers at Wabi-Kon in the early 2000s. The most beautiful place in the world for a summer camp.
I was a camper there at Wabicon for 3 years. Just degies description of the beauty and fun at this coed camp. Biggest tadpoles I've ever seen, greats northern and walleye pike to say nothing ofvthe big smallmouth bass and Great Lake trout. Canoe trips to some of the most pristine places. No mosquitoes at night, northern lights. Get your children there.
best camp in the world!
