For 8.49 taxes in... this has to be one of the best value options near the UW area. The owner is super friendly as well which is a plus! For the food I ordered #10 pork chop on rice.. the pork was super crispy and flavourful, the veggies were all right and it came with pickled raddish as well. The next time if I were to order this again I would probably tell them to put less sauce on the rice. As it got soggy by the time I went back to the place I was staying.

The taste is fine and decent for the price. The only thing is that they really skimp on the meat and give a lot and a lot of rice . I would rather them charge 2 more and give more meat cause otherwise you will be just eating plain rice towards the end.

8.99 plus taxes for a full meal with 2 sides. Value for money - checked. Taste - checked. Location - checked. The food really has what the name suggests, a taste of home. It’s not outstanding in any way but it does remind you of an amazing home cooked meal. Definitely recommend the fried chicken here. Cheaper and better than most you can get in the region.

Wholesome family owned Taiwanese restaurant. Good value for your money. I’ve only ordered the 11A and have never looked back. Owner is super friendly as well. I usually stop by for lunch in between classes. This is my go to lunch spot in the university plaza.

From first impressions, wasn't too pleased since I waited 40 minutes for my food when there were other individuals coming in after me and receiving their food within 5-10 minutes. I looked around and compared to my delayed noodle order, everyone who received their food quickly, ordered rice dishes. Getting down to the food, it's simply delicious. It's the right amount of flavour and the portion is perfect for the price. Post-meal, I relaxed in my seat, stomach satisfied for about 5 minutes. Upon paying, the owner was friendly, politely explained and apologized for the delay. Communication between the owner and consumer can be improved throughout the experience to reduce misunderstandings. Since it's privately owned, the owners determine their own times and one may not always catch them during their operating hours. It's not considered fast food so if you want quick service, I'd recommend their rice dishes. Not sure about their snacks, soups, or other dishes. But, if you have the time, I'd still recommend trying their noodle dishes. Otherwise, my overall experience justifies a solid 4/5.

Affordable pricing, and staff was very friendly, and owner served us tea with a warm smile. I ordered the seafood udon, but the bowl was mostly soup. My friend ordered the house special noodle with beef, but it didn't come with much beef. Tons of noodles though. If you have a peanut butter allergy, be warned because we tasted a hint of pb.

Very good food. Surprisingly cheap. The owner (the old taiwanese man) was my favorite part of the whole experience. Would have given 8 stars but google wouldn't allow.
