The experience itself is worth the review. I went on a Saturday night, there was a live band playing. when I stepped into the restaurant, I felt like i stepped into Mexico. If I want a plate piled high with nachos, and a ton of cheese & toppings, I will go to a corporate structured chain restaurant. If I want to test my Spanish speaking skills and feel like I'm on a Mexican vacation without leaving home, this is my place. The food, decor, and friendly Spanish service was Mexico! The restaurant was as close to Mexico as you can get without boarding a plane.

My husband had the chilaquiles, they were good! Had a bit of heat. My son had quesadilla, it was also good, but next time would skip as felt it was costly for the simplicity of the food. Had the Molcajete El Jalisco for lunch today. Wow!!! What a meal. Flavor was absolutely fantastic, super tender Birria and the amount of meat in the soup is very generously portioned. I am super full from this meal. Very authentic tasting and will eat here again.
Found this hidden gem and so glad I did it feels like your back in Mexico eating real authentic Mexican food, tacos and enchiladas were delicious
This is the best Mexican food I have had in the lower mainland, the tortilla chips and fresh pico de gallo were complimentary with the meal. The food was like the food in Mexico and Southern California very authentic. The service is friendly and portions are generous.
Delicious food! I have to say best Mexican food I had in Vancouver. Prices are very reasonable. True gem!!!
