Was a good place not far from home. Horses come onto camp site on evening. Kids loved that. Not a commercial site alot more rustic. I would go there again. Some powered sites. No water hookup, or sewer but that was ok. We went prepared. Had fun. There is a pool in river to swim on hot days. Lots of hiking and biking trails. Or good for off roaders too. No real traffic as is at end of dead end road.

We just loved this place. It is super quiet with large sites and amazing views of the river. We had a few nice encounters with wildlife- quail, hawks, and an owl at night. We were further back into the property so we didn't encounter many people and felt like we had the place to ourselves. My kids went swimming at the beach area and had a good time. The beach is rocky so you may need swim shoes, and the water is very cold but a beautiful blue colour. There was a little wild west play area that made some cute photos. There are picnic tables and firepits. There are pit toilets but not necessarily close to all sites so bring your own or expect a bit of a walk. It wasn't bad, though, and was on the way to the beach area. We were very happy and wished we could have stayed longer. We're thinking we might come back and try the cabins in the winter. Bet it's amazing in the snow.

I love camping. I love fishing. This place rocks. Never usually leave reviews but this place made me so happy. Especially the lady who runs it. Debbie is full of energy and info. She loves animals. The camp host was amazing as well. Definitely will be going back. Thank you for everything.

Well I do not suggest you bring your family here. My son tripped more then once on numerous electrical tubing roots and uneven campground! My friend also tripped on one of the run down bridges on a walk way gashing her toe open. The stairway down to the river is terrifying to walk down. Owner is quite rude and is constantly arguing her agreed price. Stating \those trying to bargain hunt are usually rift raft.\ She argues the sites are unfinished theres no sewer or water. Her priorities are so wrong. She needs to finish up her sites. There are no lighting to safely get around in the evening. Owner suggests porta potties may be dumped into outhouse but since she refuses to be covid safe and actually manage a park your not allowed to use the outhouses otherwise. She has tried to instill quiet hrs starting at 10 pm meanwhile there are parties going every night all night. She places blame on the H.A. across the river and asks that you call police next time it bothers you (no cell service!). Theres horse droppings everywhere she brags that they are worth so much yet obviously can't be responsible enough to pick up after them. Come with a rake and be prepared to clean up your site upon arrival at premium cost.

Great place to use the razors because of all the great trails in and around the campground
