Working with Robert at SwitchDoor was a pleasure. He was the first to respond to us after we had reached out to a few businesses looking for custom doors for a new IKEA kitchen we were designing. Robert provided us with lots of great advice as he knows a ton about kitchen design. SwitchDoor has good relationships with other kitchen suppliers (hardware, appliances, countertops) and has plenty of choices of cabinet door styles, materials and colours. Robert is a genius at solving design challenges simply because he has been in the business a long time as well he has an extensive knowledge of cabinetry. Every new build or Reno will have surprises. When it happened to us I just simply gave Robert a call and he was able to size up or size down anything. And give us other alternatives . He is my go to guy .

All I can say is, Wow! Robert and his team at Switchdoor transformed our dated 1989 kitchen into a stunning, modern workspace. He was able to remove a non-load bearing wall to open the kitchen to the dining and living room, which makes the cook (me!) a part of the family get-togethers and opens up the entire lower floor of our house. I wanted to keep my kitchen footprint and layout the same, as it was very functional and efficient. But the change from cupboards to drawers on the bottom make my kitchen so much more practical! Robert's design expertise really became apparent as he suggested some small changes that have made a huge impact. Extending our island counter has given me another great workspace, as has centering the stove in the peninsula. Everything has a logical place, and even though I had to lose some cupboards when the wall came down, I actually have more storage because of the smart design, which included adding a pantry. This renovation has made our home of 21 years a beautiful place where I hope we can stay for many more! Thank you Robert!

We needed to refresh an old Akurum IKEA kitchen in a rental suite. The doors and drawers came predrilled and in 2 hours we had a complete beautiful new look in this kitchen. Could not have been easier! Tenants love the new look, and we didn't have to inconvenience them more than the time it took for them to go out for lunch:) Worth every penny - so glad we found SwitchDoor!
