We did Lac Spruce and Round Top which was a beautiful hike with no ice and lots of snow. I purchased our passes and rented crampons for my boyfriend at 7am that morning before driving 2 hours to Sutton from Montreal. When we got to Sutton, they told us that they had just rented out the last pair of crampons and couldn't give us the ones I rented way earlier. A refund was issued promptly but my boyfriend had to do the trail without crampons which was significantly harder. They should set aside the crampons rented online as it is not fair for those who planned in advance. It was very disappointing to say the least. Otherwise the hike is very fun and scenic, but you NEED crampons. Try to bring your own instead of renting from them as you may be out of luck...

Depending on the trail you choose, this can be quite a challenging hike! We were directed to a strange path and it’s very poorly marked and the day took us about 8 hours. I hike often and this was a challenge! The view was definitely worth it. One of the best views of this area by far! If you’re less directionally challenged than most you should be just fine! Beautiful view, the trails outside the hills used for skiing are stunning! Wear good shoes and bring bug spray! You’ll love it!

Worth the effort to climb to the Round Top. If you decide to continue from there, you will need snowshoes.

Awesome place to hike. Well marked and quiet trails, big parking lot.

Great hike. I would classify it as moderate. Did the dos d'orignal trail and was basically alone on it. The Lake trail was very busy
