This is my usual go-to spot for sushi. The prices are good, and the quality of their fish used to be good. This is pretty much a takeout-only place, so with the pandemic their business appears to actually have doubled. Sadly, this somehow translated to their food becoming poor. I'm a purist and judge sushi places on their salmon and tuna. Nothing else really matters to me. Their salmon is always fresh, and last night when I stopped by the salmon was still fresh, but very tough and lean. Really disappointing. Then the tuna... God... They used to give you whole pieces of fresh tuna in their rolls, and it was fresh because you never tasted any off flavors or fishiness. Yesterday they gave me minced tuna in a roll, and it was so insanely fishy I had to throw it all away. Somehow this place went from serving the best tuna in the GTA to serving the worst.

Ordered yam tempura roll, dynamite roll, hard rock & roll and spicy tuna roll. Of the 4 only the spicy tuna roll was good... order sushi often. The yam tempura roll had almost raw yams inside, rock hard and cold. Seems as though the deep fryer didn’t work well or they made it all in a rush. Same goes for anything that had the deep fried shrimp (hard rock & roll and dynamite roll). Called them about this and they acted as though I never ate sushi before and raw yams are meant to be in sushi... garbage sushi for the most part. Regret leaving any tip at all.
Loveeee their sushiii. It's of the best one in town. Super fresh, reasonable price. Definitely recommend
Sushi is reasonably priced. I wish they had thawed the fish out a bit longer before they served it to me. Service is fast, fish is of good quality. It's much better than all you can eat sushi. They are open late. If you're looking for good priced sushi in the North York area whilst on a budget, I recommend this place. The four stars is only because I can't put 4.5. There's only two other sushi restaurants in Toronto that I would visit regularly other than this store.
Favourite sushi shop. Their regular rolls taste superb, however the best rolls have to be the dynamite rolls and spicy tuna/salmon rolls. Sushi Bong makes sushi unlike any other sushi shop and they excel in what they do best. Great price points too, it’ll fit perfectly for any budget. Quality has changed over the years of eating there, but their sushi still remains the best in my opinion. Would highly recommened anybody in Toronto to try their sushi out, if you haven’t.
