This business has a long history in White Rock, on Russell Ave. They grew out off space and after another planned move, now in MNP Place. Two floors, huge reception area, meeting rooms, named with familiar names and friendly staff. Their work is very professional and is a fit for our needs. Thanks for the right answers to difficult questions and fresh flower in the reception area .....
MNP is expensive and in some areas incompetent. One year i was charged nearly 1,700 for a fairly simple return. When i had a question re an additional CRA assessment of 200 and asked MNP for advice, they simply told me to pay the charge and billed me 600 for the advice. Yes, i paid 600 to be advised to pay 200. Worse, after preparing my taxes, MNP provided no advice re installment payments and it cost me 10,000 in penalties and interest. MNP claimed that a form letter they sent me that contained no mention of my current situation was sufficient \duty of care\. They basically hung me out to dry. When i asked to speak with a tax partner re this unreasonable position, no one would return my calls. There are many better tax preparation firms out there.
Friendly staff. Sizable outdoor plaza parkade. The pedestrian walkway/speedbump on the north side of the parkade is too tall for some vehicles, can cause scratches/impacts to vehicle undercarriage. Has five shared 16A, approx. 3.8 kW electric vehicle charging stations. Slow actual charging speed, approx. 5 km/hr.
