We've hired M.C. Painting & Renovation two times over the last couple of years. Both times we were completely happy with the outcome of the project. Doug is very organized and was in constant communication with us at all times regarding updates and schedules. The crew members were professional, hard working and friendly to deal with. I am very pleased with the recent Kitchen Renovation completed by MC Painting & Renovation. I was apprehensive about finding a contractor who would deliver quality results, on time and within budget. MC Painting & Renovation met all the criteria and more… exceptional management & communication, quality workmanship & material and punctual workers contributed to the successful completion of this project. There were some minor issues that arose after the kitchen was complete, but they were dealt with in a prompt & professional manner. Doug has an excellent eye for colour & design. I was surprised that I selected kitchen floor tile, wall tile & counter tops in a couple of hours (with Doug’s assistance). I expected it would take more samples & shopping trips before making a decision. I then worried whether I had made the right choices until it all came together. Doug suggested to tile the wall around the window to the ceiling, which I agreed to, and to also tile inside the window return, but I somehow pictured a shower stall insert for soap/shampoo and was unsure how that would look in a kitchen. In the end I went with Doug’s recommendation & he was right… It looks great! I am very happy with the renovation & would not hesitate to hire MC Painting & Renovation again.
I just had my kitchen done recently by Doug and his staff from MC Painting and Renovation. Doug and his staff were such a pleasure to work with. They did an amazing job. So happy with the results. The work was done with exceptional quality and on time. He and his staff are highly skilled with attention to detail and were always punctual. Plus they worked cleanly too. Doug was so helpful during the whole process and communicated clearly throughout the reno. I would highly recommend MC Painting and Renovation. A very happy customer.
M.C. Painting did a super job painting my house. The work was done on time and on budget. The quality of the work is excellent. In addition, while painting, a problem with the gutters over the garage was discovered; it was actually the supports for the gutters where a water leak had cause rot in the 2x4s. Doug diverted one of his carpenters from another job and fixed it the same day. Excellent work! Dennis
Doug and his team of Frank, Jason, and Justin did a fantastic job of renovating our kitchen, bathrooms, the hardwood floors and painting both the interior and exterior of our home. We were guided through the whole process from start to finish. It included defining the scope of work, brainstorming designing ideas, selecting of materials, choosing paint colors and of course the shopping excursions. Doug was clear on the expectations, the budget, and the timelines. There were no surprises and the communication was an ongoing process. We were extremely satisfied with the quality of work and would call on Doug at M.C. Painting and Renovations without hesitation for any similar project.
