I contacted this school with what I thought was a polite email asking to do a trial on their weekend class. The instructor responsed with a curt and borderline rude message saying that the Surrey weekend class "is for advanced students only". He didn't ask if I wanted to come a different day or offer an alternative, so it left me with the impression he wasn't interested in me following up. In spite of it, I sent one more message apologizing for not knowing the weekend class was only for advanced students (in spite of this not being on the website), and asked to visit their Vancouver location on a weekday instead. No reply... I am not an expert on karate, but I'm fairly sure the instructor's elitist and standoffish attitude isn't respresentative of the respect for others that martial arts should expound. Very disappointing.
