Coastal Union is my favourite! When I moved to the area, I tried all of the local Muay Thai gyms and Coastal was by FAR the best. Wayne & Cass, and everyone in class are so welcoming and motivating, from day one I felt comfortable and I really appreciate the sense of community here. Wayne is a fantastic teacher, he is really down to earth and promotes a culture that is collaborative and fun for everyone training, at all levels. I am very happy to be a part of the Coastal Union fam.

Coastal Union is a welcoming space for people of all levels to train authentic Muay Thai. Wayne is an experienced trainer who provides individualized feedback to help you develop your techniques. He is not only a kind and supportive coach, but a friend to all that train there. This place is much more than a business to Wayne & Cass, and I’m lucky to be a part of the Coastal Union family!
Definitely having a blast here at Coastal Union. Everyone there is super friendly and are very welcoming to beginners. Everyone of different skill sets are welcomed there. Everyone is very helpful at Coastal Union and every class is very fun and energetic. Definitely learning a lot more than a previous place I had attended to previously, and it's also a very healthy type of exercise, which helps you boost your stamina and lose weight. Wayne is a great instructor and is very helpful when your having difficulty during class. He is very encouraging and is very welcoming to beginners, where if your not able to do something or don't know how to, you won't be hesitant to ask him. If your interested in learning Muay Thai, whether your a beginner or experienced, I would highly recommend you join Coastal Union.
Wayne is a superb instructor! I have about 4 years of martial arts training but the last year I’ve been at coastal union have definitely been the best. I have mainly been doing private lessons with Wayne and I can say without a doubt, it’s some of the best 1 on 1 training you can sign up for. When I signed up for private lessons I was a bit nervous as I had not trained in a while but, Wayne was very good at easing me back into it but at the same time pushing me past my limits. Mentally this was very important to me, I had regained and developed a ton of confidence. When training with Wayne it’s not just about training to learn the martial art of Muay Thai but to become a better person overall. I’m excited to start training again and cannot thank Wayne and the coastal fam enough for everything they’ve done.
Wayne is an exceptional trainer who is both knowledgeable and supportive to all skill levels. This in combination with the tight knit family-like atmosphere makes me want to train even harder. Hands down 5 stars all around
