I walked into Surplus Furniture in a crunch for a complete furniture overhaul and was warmly greeted by Raja. He walked me through the store and took the time to listen to exactly what I needed, worked within my budget and made some really helpful suggestions. This is by far the most flexible and understanding company I've dealt with in terms of financing, I worked with Sal and he was so easy to deal with and explained everything thoroughly. The size and selection at this store is also amazing and looks/feels of good quality. I can't wait for my new furniture to arrive. Thanks so much to the Surplus team for making all this possible. Was not told return policy. Twin was left in my front foyer as frame will not got upstairs. Called and asked to return was told store credit. I want to return the bed, headboard n dresser. I need the money not store credit. As son needs a bed!!!!!!!! As well got my bed there and told simple to instruct witch is not!!!!
I had a layaway item they sold on me without telling me so I was putting money to nothing when I went to the store I was advised then when I was paying off my couch set they were not reasonable and did not advise of so they said sir you needed to put 50% for us to hold the product.. no where on the contract does it say that.. They say they use a 3rd party delivery company but the lady drivers said they use to work in the warehouse . I had problems they couldn't get my couch in and the one I layaway would have fit the same driver said the same thing to my aunt and brother who both went there as well because if they can't get it in they still get paid for delivery and then you have to pay for another delivery charge... They were rough with there attempts.... I now am speaking to my lawyer about fraud theft and false advertisement as they will not return my money... worst experience I have ever had and I will be going to the news and papers as well as social media to share my experience as no one there was willing to accommodate me
The price is cheap however i still feel like i over paid for my mattress and furniture. First, there are no assembly instructions, no guide holes leaving way to much room for error when putting the furniture together. Called the store they could not find insturctions online in the store or anywhere else leaving me to have to take pictures of the items to figure out how to try and put it together....my mirror right now is giving me quiet the headache as there is nowhere at the back of the dresser thick enough to put the screws.....bought a mattress less than 4 months ago from there and it has already sunk in right in the middle of the bed could have took that 600 bucks and gone to the brick....do not buy here better off buying used or paying a couple extra bucks for ikea furniture. Buyers be warned The new bedroom set you buy wont even last you a year. So disappointed
