Absolutely loved the Sunset Point Park. It has amazing views. The sunset was beautiful. Great place to walk, relax and simply hang out.

Experience nature at its best. Had a beautiful walk. Clean and quite. Parking is a problem but we can park outside and coming walking towards the park.
Incredible view, especially at sunset! Many people go there to take photos. The beach was nice as well BUT swim shoes are a must because of the pebbles and rocks. We went a few times and got parking very easily. A very peaceful place. Soooo relaxing. Nice ice cream shop and other typical snack food available (fish & chips, hamburgers). I would add this to your list when you visit Collingwood, Ontario.
I adore Sunset point beach. On a good day when the weather is sublime, the water is clear and calm. Then there are those days when the weather turns the bay into a wind surfers paradise. It gets very crowded on the weekends. Arrive early to claim your ideal spot. Downside, the Collingwood council recently removed and banned all BBQ grills. There had been great speculation as to the reason and it has been cited as racially motivated. Having said that, due to the busy season, summer, the parking areas fill up quickly, but there is a parking area that's been provided simply for residents of Collingwood. Peta a welcomed, you can walk, ride, SUP, canoe, kayak, swim, sail, or just sit on the rocky shore and enjoy the sunshine.
The Sunset Point Park is one of the best places to be. The park is very nice for any occasions or outdoor activities, and an absolute must for sunset-chasers.;) It's a place where the skies become magical, with the sunset being one of the highlights of this park. I supposed, hence its name \Sunset Point.\ The view is magnificent, unobstructed, absolutely one of the best I have seen, and one that leaves you in awe. It is stunningly gorgeous, and absolutely breathtaking. It is conveniently located very close to the street and parking area. The park is very clean, well kept, and welcoming. There are lots of benches around plus a canteen on site, and wash room facilities. Had lots of fun here. It is worth every effort.
