This place is an excellent find! Very friendly and family run business. Cozy cabins with electricity and heaters. There's shared fire pits and a great view of the river. There's also space to camp if you prefer to rough it a bit. Wash hut with flush toilets and showers is available. Cabins include breakfast (eggs or pancakes) and the cafe and general store are open throughout the day in case you'd like a snack or an absolutely huge milkshake! We did a two hour horseback ride for a very reasonable rate and really enjoyed ourselves. Will be back again for sure. Thanks!!

Cabins were clean and the area was very peaceful. The beds were OK (I have a bad back and brought my air mattress, my wife thought the mattress was comfy) The area that the cabins are in are treed and feel like it is in the wilderness. We could hear the river from the cabins. Common Bathrooms were nice and clean. The common tent was nice and big with lots of room.
6 of us were out for the full day ride. Absolutely the best time! Great rides, amazing scenery so so good \u003c3
These folks pretty much wrote the book on hospitality. After 70 miles of hard mountain biking in the rain, they kept the kitchen open late, and provided hot showers. The home-cooked food was great, and the cabins were perfect. This is as good as it gets
I went horseback riding for the first time. The ladies were great guides and gave good directions. The horses were beautiful and calm; my horse had some personality and laughing at him made me more comfortable on the horse.
My husband and I have gone out West every year, and sometimes twice a year; Merle and Lori are so welcoming. Great food,; great rides; scenery can't be beat, and truly it's a place to unplug, so needed in this chaotic world. You won't regret a visit to Sunset.

I was there last summer and everything and everyone is amazing. The facilities are clean, the cabins are beautiful, within a lovey view of the Red Deer River. The staff are lovely, Merle was an amazing guide, he was kind and overall amazing. I cannot wait to come back again. For sure going to make Sunset Guiding an very year trip.
