I have used other tanning places over the years but since I started at Sun Sands Tanning when they first opened I have been so happy. The tanning salon is fully stocked with lotions jewellery and moisturizers. The staff is efficient friendly and very knowledgeable, The owners always have everything in A1 condition and update equipment regularly. I would suggest to anyone to try it out and you will keep coming back. Best tanning salon and best service. .

Absolutely love this tanning salon! The staff are great and the atmosphere is just what I imagine. They are always quick with a selection of bed types from standing to laying, big or small! Always clean as well! Would highly recommend to anyone I know. It's the only place I go anymore!
They ran a promotion selling tanning packages when they knew the landlord was not renewing there lease. Customers showed up for a tan and the doors were locked and the place was empty. Not good. It says they are opened but they are not.
Happy to find this spot again. Tried the spray tans but nothing gives as good color as a real tan! This is where I go for some quiet me time! Friendly knowledgeable staff.
I started going here a couple years ago when I was living in Halifax, it is always clean and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. I’ve since moved to Dartmouth and I still choose to come here! Beds work great and in my books it’s worth the drive!
I have tanned at a few places, however Sun sands tanning is the cleanest and by far the most knowledgeable about the products they sell. Carla knows how to get you the best tan with the right product! Thanks guys !
I bought a package last Friday, still have some at another spot but the cleanliness.had gone down substantially. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile and how are you from Emily, she walked me through the packages, confirmed I had all I needed before going in to the bed with instructions for the bed. I know this is expected but it wasn’t forced or phoney, was just nice. Cleanliness - 5 stars Decor - 5 Stars Customer Service - 5 Stars Pricing/Deals- 5 Stars I found my new Tanning spot. :)
Staff are professional and friendly. Always super clean. Would highly recommend!
