This is a great place to get some really amazing sunset pics on a clear skies. We did a hike to the mountain top and then walked over to the cosmic ray center. It's very sad to see everyone trying to vandelinze such a great place of history. The room has been completely dismantled now but carries some memories from its golden days. I hope University of Calgary sets up a Radio telescope there or a HAM repeater for Banff.

This place is a must. You can't come to Banff, and not hit the gondola up. There is no greater way to take in the views. It was cold when we got there, about 9c, and by the time we got up with the gondola, it was 0c. But I really think it added to the experience, and thankfully we had the right clothing and jackets. When you go outside z there is a wooden walkway, that you can take all the way around, and up to the peak. Make sure you so this. It will add about 30-40mins to your visit, but it is worth it for those breathtaking views.

Pleasant gondola ride up. Very nice facility up top with interpretive tour. Balcony view of the mountain ranges is breathtaking. Planked walkways leading to Sanson peak make for an easy stroll while enjoying views. Make sure to go on a cloudless day to ensure maximum views. It was also a bit windy at the peak. Dress accordingly.

One of the most amazing view I have ever seen. It's definitely the most beautiful view of the county, it's a must! The hike is not too steep and I really appreciated it as an occasional hiker. You can also use the gondola to get to the top.

This is a great view. Download the "Agents of Discovery" app before you go as it has a great discovery game for kids that can read. The mountain vista from this peak are amazing, and there are lots of signs explaining the mountains surrounding as well as the history of the location. Definite favorite, and if you're fit you can walk up instead of take the gondola.

Fantastic views of mountain ranges. Dozens of beautiful photos await to be taken as mementos. Well set up walk way allows visitors to go from peak to peak and enjoy the views along the way. Highly recommended if you've got the chance.

Going up Sulphur Mountain is always a fun visit. When you are at the top, you can follow the boardwalk trail across the top to this historic site. A few tips: ️Dress warm ️The COVID-19 pandemic is not making masks mandatory outside or inside here, but it certainly kept me warmer outside when I wore it. ️Staff are helpful and directing you to the right spots safely. When you make it across the boardwalk trail and up to the historic site, don't forget to take a photo of your incredible feat!
