A wonderful new yarn shop in historic Fergus, Ontario. If you love to crochet and/or knit and are looking for beautiful high quality yarn and accessories, then look no further. Order on-line or visit the store in-person to see the amazing selection for yourself. I bought myself a couple of adorable needle felting kits...the finished product certainly isn't perfect, but it was fun. I may be addicted now.
This adorable new shop has an array of beautiful colors & lots of options for the yarn lover in your home. The owner is very friendly & welcoming. She's eager to assist with any questions you may have or to help you find what you're looking for. Also, there's a cute Fireplace in the store with some lounge chairs for you to relax and enjoy. Maybe even have a seat and start your next project! Definitely recommend!
From the bright walls, to the high, open style ceiling, and the cozy fireplace, String Theory Yarn Shop is a fabulous place to shop. From sturdy and affordable yarns, to hand painted 'fancy' stuff, this shop has a little bit of everything. Their seating areas (TWO of them!!) allow knitters and shoppers to get in a few stitches while they're there. My only regret is I won't be able to get there as often as I'd like.
Beautiful shop, friendly and well stocked yarn store! I can’t wait for the pandemic to wrap up and be able to spend some time knitting by the fireplace. The large windows allow knitters to see the true colours of the beautiful yarns. So happy to have a new local yarn store!!!!
The store is neat and organized. The staff is amazing. I've asked if they carry a couple of items. The items that they didn't have currently (but hopefully in the future), they actually recommended other local businesses that might have it. Went out of their way to be kind and helpful. Awesome store!
What a delightful and most-welcome addition to Fergus. The store has an intriguing selection of yarn at amazing prices, beautifully displayed. And the owner is exceptionally helpful and courteous.
