There are no words that could possibly express how happy we are to have chosen Liuna Gardens as our wedding venue. Our wedding was affected by the covid pandemic (originally June 2020, postponed to August 2020). Nicole from Liuna (Gardens and Station) was just amazing to work with. I had an opportunity to have a real wedding moment by having our details meeting in February with her (pre-covid). Throughout the spring she kept in touch regularly with updates on the venue's responses to the pandemic and government's regulations. She was quick to respond to my many emails and questions, always with a friendly note. Although there were many restrictions in place (by the government) that the venue had to follow, Nicole did everything possible to help make our day perfect, and it was! It's so unfortunate that Liuna Gardens is closing down, but we are very grateful to have had the chance to get married on it's property before the closure. Went for a wedding. The place is out of a magazine! The lake view and the backdrop is breathtaking. The gardens are beautifully kept, lots of mature trees, plenty of flowers, and greenery. The sounds of water provide it with tranquility and peace, it feels like you’re on a island, far away from city life. Definitely a place anyone would love.
I was here for a recent wedding that I was involved in, and have attended a few other weddings here as well. I have always had a great experience at Liuna Gardens. The staff were really helpful and flexible. They were great at getting things that we needed when we were setting up, like extra tables. They even sent us home with the leftover food from the reception! The location is beautiful, being right on Lake Ontario, which makes it great for pictures. There are gardens, grassy areas, the lake, and a swing. The bride & groom did their wedding pictures there and they turned out great. The prices are comparable, if not cheaper, than other venues/wineries in the area. I would definitely consider it for a wedding or banquet.

Still waiting for more details about my deposit. Good ol' liuna stealing money and not giving it back. Soon they'll be getting a call from my lawyer. Nicole started off nice now it's as if the gardens are already closed with the lack of communication. Definitely reconsider if your booking a wedding here or liuna station. Confident it is due to being part of the LGBT community.
